WSAZ Children's Charities is dedicated to improving the lives of children across 33 counties in Eastern Kentucky, Southeastern Ohio, and Southern West Virginia. We provide grants to organizations that support children in need, from those facing poverty and hunger to those with special needs.
To apply for a grant, please submit a letter of need detailing your organization's mission, specific project, and how the funds will make a difference in the lives of children. Be sure to include your IRS 501(c)(3) letter and a copy of your most recent IRS Form 990.

WSAZ Children's Charities requires a letter of need, written by your organization following these criteria:
1. These funds must be utilized for children's programs.
2. The funds are to be used in the geographic area of southern West Virginia, southern Ohio, or eastern Kentucky.
3. You must provide a copy of your most recent IRS form 990 or your IRS 501 (C)3 letter and your Charitable Registration Statement, or its counterparts for the state of West Virginia, Ohio or the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
4. You must identify the specific children's program that will receive the funds.
